The reason Saban brings in guys like Mularky and potentially Capers is not only beacuse their great coordinators but he realizes that he doesn't have assistant coordinators on staff now that warrant coordinator positions. If Mularky leaves in a year or two then Bagget or Garret will be experianced enough to then take on the OC position.

Same goes for Capers (if he signs) leaving. Smith or Muehlscamp will then have enough experaince to take on the DC position. Look at what Belhichek does...same thing...promote within!

Saban knows these guys will eventually leave, but their understudies will have gained valuable knowledge learned from Mularky and Capers and thus we will have consistency for years to come.

Flat out the guys sharp!

I agree bringing in Nick Saban was the best thing that we could do. He is smart and will bring us a Super Bowl, I can feel it. Go Dolphins!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like I can barely remember watching a Dolphins postseason game, and the last trip to the postseason was definetely dissapointing. Anyways, the hiring of Nick Saban has turned our whole franchise around. Winning a championship at LSU and having a successful season will only attract players to play under such a great coach. I'm just hoping we can keep him for a while!!

That's IT!!! Bring in the Old guys to teach the new guys. That way they can take something from each of the coordinators that will come and go in the next few years. Saban wants a system in place...he doesn't care about the personnel...he cares about the system :dolphins: :D

I think Saban has done a fantastic job. We will have one of (if not) the best coaching staffs in pro football next year. I just hope he is able to promote good unity and chemistry in the coaching staff and amongst the players.
