we need to stick with him through thick and thin

I thought the Steelers made the wrong decision picking Cowher over Donahue

I think we need to be patient

I agree with you 100%, as far as Im concernd he can have this team for 10 years.

I'm just mad cause I thought we could have won 2 games we lost. And I think a lot of the stress is from the fact that most of these so called "analysys" put way to much pressure on this team by picking them to win or even go to the SB.

I have had closer that this season is pretty much lost at this point, but I do beleive that eventualy Saban will deliver us a complete dominante team.

I still have faith in Saban. People are sayuing fire the coach after a rough start but in all seriousness he is the best candidate to coach this team. Give him sometime to build this team to a contender. It's not going to happen overnight and we need to be patient.

you are wise beyond your years

I think we are 1 draft/FA away from the playoffs and 2 from a superbowl contender

I dreaded our defense getting old this year, I had no idea that the OL would ruin it

I agree with you fin fans. I dont think you will find a better head coach than Saban, he just needs to hire better coordinators. Every great coach has great assistants.

In Mularkeys defense:

the OL sucks

the QB is rusty

the offense ain't his

you don't get a HC job by being a dope

i agree. saban showed alot of promise last year. now he's finally getting the team he wants in place, but it's gonna take more than 2 offseasons. think about all the turnover we've had in 2 years. it's not like in 2 years he can get every player he wants in every single position. sometimes you have to settle for others until the right guy comes along.

I'll never give up on my Dolphins. We will improve this year (hard to get any worse) and be much better next year. From then on out I hope we are a threat year after year.

If you compare Saban with the other bottom dwelling teams of 2004 (Tennessee, Cleveland, and San Francisco), Saban is still ahead:

Crennel is 7-13
Nolan is 5-15
Fisher is 4-16
Saban is 10-10.

So Im still behind Saban 100 percent. Culpepper on the other hand.. :shakeno:

In defense of those other coaches nobody expected anything out of the Titans, Browns, and 49ers this season. I can't compare teams that were expected to be bad with a team that was expected to be very good. If those teams you listed went 8-8 they would be a surprise team while the expectations going into this year were far greater than 8-8.

I'm not going to bash Saban nor am I going to annoint him the savior of the franchise because he hasn't been an NFL head coach long enough to make a judgement on. Mike Mularkey was 9-7 on the brink of the playoffs his 1st year as a Head Coach and he failed miserably in his 2nd season, other coaches have been awful in their first year and have had great success. It's too early to know and to make bold statements because 20 games is not enough time for any coach.

Cowher got the Steelers job when he was in his 30s. Nick Saban is in his mid 50s.

I have been asking all week and very few seem even willing to try to answer....

What are you basing your faith in Saban on?

I love this....all the opponents in our division loving our coach that has us 1-3. I bet they love him, just like I loved Rich Kotite coaching the Jets.
