Saban left us better than when he came?

So the great Nick Satan wants to put a positive spin on his time here? Only to help him recruit high school kids to play for him. I hope they see the real truth, he's a loser, and no team is better for having him as a coach, if he succeeds he's gone, if he loses he's gone, he's just a goner.
 
****ing ridiculous. We were better off with Bates as HC. We're last in the AFC East and have the worst cap situation in the AFC East. We've passed up numerous quality FA's and potential draft picks for people ranging from average players to Bennie Anderson. We have a one legged QB who we can only pray has a miraculous comeback. A number of scrubs surrounding Carey on the OL. Corners who are mediocre at best. The two best players we have who are almost solely responsible for everyone of our wins are now two years older. With the possible exception of Ronnie we havent picked up a single player in two years who is the kind of star you can build your team around. Not to mention Saban has left a layer of slime on the whole organization.
 
He took over a 4 win team and turned them right around into a 6 win team.
Saban really showed he was worth the millions, not. I have never seen a coach do less and get more of a contract.
 
If you want to consider winning 2 more games better, than yeah, we are better.

He also indicated we are in better shape with salary cap....uhhhh, isn't that mostly credited to the GM??? I could've been in better cap shape as well, if i held off on signing any big name free agents for a couple of years and signed old veterans to short term contracts.....big wow
 
funny how all of you are saying saban left the team in worse shape when 2weeks ago you all thought with a good offseason we could be in the playoffs next year
 
screw him let him run back to college it isn't like he was the best coach ever there are still many coaches out there that we can get

I never thought the team was in as bad a shape as many have but we have never fixed the oline. I truly think Saban did a poor job of coaching this team this year and am glad he is gone.
 
he needs to work as a political consultant because he is the king of spin

Please don't lump me into that category.
 
He shed a lot of good veteran talent and brought in almost as much promising young talent. I wouldn't call it a massive improvement, but we can't claim that he left the team in worse shape than he found it like some may claim about Wanny.
