Not sure if anyone has seen this yet...but Steve Belichick....Bill's father and friend of Nick Saban passed away this weekend. Might possibly explain a lack of fire out of him...and passed on to the team. Im sure Nick would never use that as an excuse....but it is worth mentioning.

wow I hadn't heard that. I'm sorry for the loss.

Its tough to coach under those circumstances.....Im sure it weighed on Saban's mind during the game Sunday.

Umm.. Dont you think it would effect Bill Bellichck more than Saban? Bill's team beat the Saints.. Saban's team got trounced by the Browns.. This in no way effected the game.

If your looking for a excuse....I guess you could use it. I rather believe the team was out played and out coached.

Lack of Fire? Did you see him screaming at the Refs?

It had nothing to do with the game. I'm sure after the game, maybe before yes. But it had nothing to do with the game.

What is wrong with you man?

Mod Edit: Take 24hrs off to calm down.

Wow guys, good job turning this thread tacky.

Edit:Someone died, take shots at people elsewhere.

People die everyday....and it shouldn't used as an excuse by fans.

Folks try to remain humane and rational and not think like neanderthals. Bill lost his father - a terrible loss. Nick lost a good friend in the passing of Bill's dad. I am sure most Dolfans feel for them - on a human level. Don't diminish the loss of a father and friend by trivializing it with moronic debates on who coached better on Sunday.
