this is defintely a "I don't know thing"....Muller's been out of the business for 2 years, I don't know if he still has the same eye, Saban's new to the NFL after a 10 year stint in college, this will be interesting to say the least. Right now, both men are well behind the Pats duo.

They haven't even started their first official season together. As of now, Bellichek and Pioli are way ahead and will probably stay there. It's hard to compete with 3 SuperBowl wins in 4 years. I'm not saying Saban/Mueller won't be successful, it's just hard to tell this early.

right now they shouldn't even be in the conversation. Give them a few years, see how they do and revisit this in 5-7 -- then maybe there will be a basis for comparison.

It will be very successful if Saban shuts his pie hole, and lets Randy stock the team with the talent for him to use.

How about if Mueller shuts his pie hole and does it Sabans way!!!

Mueller likes the limelight to much.

Can Mueller be the yes man that y9ou would think Saban is after.

I don't see two being able to work together.

I don't think that Saban will have to "shut his pie hole", because Randy wouldn't even be here unless Saban wanted him. Once again Saban has shown that he has an eye for talent. It does appear to be a little strange that these two head strong individuals are going to be working together. Here's hoping it works out.

:drinkers:

ANYONE is a step up from Spielman. It sounds like Mueller has made some great personnel moves...unfortunately he was working for a lousy franchise in New Orleans.

I respect your opinion on this. It seems like all the Bills fan are saying negative things of all what we did this offseason. Back up your saying on this. Why dont you think they can work together?

Just reading about Mueller he dosen't seem like a great guy. I don't know, I mean he seems almost underhanded.

i think of Saban as a straight forward kinda guy, he's not afraid to tell you how he feels. Mueller, from reading the opinions of the Saints fans, seems to have his own agenda. That dosen't seem like the kind of thing Saban would put up with.

But you never know, I mean , they wouldn't have brought him in if they couldn't work together would they?

I'm just kinda surprised that they hired someone so soon after Speilman, or why not fire Speilman months ago and have Mueller draft for the team he's gonna be running. Kinda confusing.

Yes it was a suprised move and a very fast one at that. IMO Saban wanted somebody that has spent alot of years in the NFL to help him out with situations that he didnt have to dealth with before. He wanted a guy that knows his ways around the leauge and a guy that knows talent when he sees it. So thats why i think Saban hired Randy because of those reasons.
