I will not blame this teams failures on Nick Saban, not yet. As a coaching staff, all you can do is put your players in position to make plays, and its up to them to make the plays. Too many times yesterday I saw players in position to make plays and just did not make themm I'll name a few, RANDAL F'N McMicheal, Kevin Carter, Whoever the Corner Back was on that Donal Driver Touchdown pass, and both safties. On different occassions in the game, these players had chances to make plays and either did not make them or the other teams player made the play. At this point, the only thing saban can do publicly embarras these players by benching them for a few series when they screw up. I personally would have sat Randy McMicheal down for a few plays after that 1st drop pass that got intercepted, and would have sat him down probably for the rest of the game after the second one. As a coach, you are not going to be able to scare a player into playing better by yelling at them and getting in their faces, especially with veterans, but if you put their azzes on the bench and let them have to answer the questions from the press of why they got benched, I think that would motivate them to play better, and if it doesn't then we get rid of them after the season. I also think we need to activate some of the younger players on this team and get them ready to play, and if any veterans have something to say about it, Nick should just point at the record and say "thats what we are with you veterans playing, now GET THE HELL OUT OF MY OFFICE, and by the way, you will be second team next week" What do you guys/girls think?

agree... but he won't because he's responsible for perssonel decisions and he might look bad and that's important to Nick. Total control = Total delusion.

I absolutely agree. I think it is time our rookies get some playing time.

randy needs to see the pine. they had a clip of him showing how to properly catch a pass on the jumbotron during the first quarter...whatta joke.

Nick needs to sit and embarrass some vets alright, but he won't and that's sad. We need to start some young guys anyway to see what they've got. We are now officially rebuilding, or should be.

He needs to do something, my support for him is beginning to waver a bit. I can't take too much more losing. It's been tough.

I really hope Saban does something.. I am absolutely fed up. If something isn't working you have to fix it and right now are leaders are not working. C'mon Saban lets start fixing things.

I agree, he needs to start showing these guys that they need to be accountable for what they are or aren't doing on the field.. The trouble is he will have to be held accountable for his mistakes, and i'm not sure his pride will let him.. At this point he would be best serve playing all of his young guns and see what he has moving forward.. I understand fans want to win now, however the only way we are ever going to get over the hump is to put together a few good drafts and build up through youth again.. The problem with that is, Saban hasn't exactly lit the world on fire with his picks so far..

I agree. When Will Allen started shooting his mouth off after finally having a successful pass defense, I was screaming at the tv for him to shut up. Sure enough the flag comes out. So instead of forcing the Packers to punt, he gives them a 1st down which leads to a TD (sound familiar?). I would've sat him down right there. That's 3 games that his stupid penalties have cost us a TD and likely the game.

I agree as well.

If you want disciplined play on the field, there has to be some threat of discipline for bad play and bad mistakes!

You want players to play with confidence, but they also need to realize there are consequences. It is sometimes a fine line between being too harsh on players such that they are unable to perform with confidence and failing to let them know there will be consequences to their actions.

I dont think his picks have been bad. Ronnie is pretty good but is not the type of back that can run without holes. He's not going to make a lot of guys miss, what he will do is run over some people and break some tackles. Channing Crowder is good, Travis Daniels is good when not hurt, Derek Hagan will be ok with a little more experience, and we have a good core of young defensive linemen with Rodrique Wright, Mat Roth, and I think his name is fred evens. Also i think Jason Allen will be good with some playing time this year and a full offseason.
