ESPN's Around the Horn is 2 segments away from one titled, Nick Saban. It has to do with Saban talking about Daunte. Just thought I'd shoot you guys a heads up.

YES! I love this! Listen to this Saban quote!

After the way we played yesterday, no body is indispensible. Daunte's not playing like he's capable of right now. But, for now, his job is safe.

BEAUTIFUL! This is just what Nick needed to do. Call out his players and challenge them to play better. You just wait, I am calling it right now, this will be equal to Saban challengeing Chambers last year. Any one can quote me on that.

This reminds me of when he pretty much said that heads will roll this offseason if we continue to play like that after the cleveland loss.

Yeah me too! This seriously has me pumped. Hopefully the team's play won't curb my enthusiasm.

Best quote from segment... "be careful what you wish for especially when there is a Joey involved." Almost word for word of my exact thoughts. I'll totally be the 1st to admit that D.C. isnt playing on the level he should be. But that does not mean you bench him for choking Harrington. Man so quick to jump the gun on ol' Culppy. Never thought I'd see the day where 22-30 for a TD and INT would draw out calls for bench a starting QB. Our O-line played atrocious, Will Allen got burned and basically gave Buffalo a TD, and Murlakey must have been smoking something to abandon the run so quickly.

I guess the normal question is "what are you smoking" but I'm just curious what flavor Kool-Aid all of you drink? Is it teal?

Hey Woody Page is the only one thats said keep Daunte in lol Thats enough for me time to put Joey in

put me at QB and I could go 22-30 if they were all little dump passes like his.

A choking Harrington? What exactly do you call what Daunte has done in our abysmal first two games? Harrington couldn't possibly choke worse than Culpepper has.

Don't act like those stats aren't flawed. He had seven sacks. Anybody know how many yards lost all those sacks amount to? You can pretty much wipe that TD away as it came with 2 mins left, garbage time, down 16-0. And of course, the inevitable fumbles.

I know you Culpepper huggers are grasping at straws to defend him. But you're fighting a losing battle. Until he shows improvement, he sucks, nuff said.

the td came in garbage time. so that doesn't count. And the int wouldn't been so bad...but we were in the redzone. it 0-3 buff, daunte could have been sacked for a loss of 11 on that play, adn we're still in field goal range. If daunte had pretty much done just about anything other then through and INT in that situation, we're going into halftime tied at the very least. Even someone like Vince Young or Jay Cutler, or...your or me, would know not to throw an int in that situation.

While I agree with your attitude, it's hardly fair to go quoting stats. The touchdown and a lot of the completions/yards came on our last drive (and that one interception might as well have been three with how much it impacted the game). I'm not a stats guy when it comes to QBs anyway. Look at Roethlisberger, or Rivers in Week 1, or Leftwich for that matter. They may not put up great fantasy points, but they make the throws they need to make and control the game. That's what we should be looking for. We have a solid defense and a great RB. I think we're asking/expecting too much from our QB at this point. The main problem I see is that our offensive line couldn't create a hole if we gave them shovels.

Time for the wake up call!! Start benching starters until they get the point! I'm for that, if we are going to lose this way then back-ups can't be any worse!

Guys, look. All Bellson and I are trying to get across, is that things certainly can get better. My take on this, it's last year's Cleveland game all over again. Saban made the quote around Tuesday last year too. I just think we see a differnt Dolphins team from here on out just like we did last year. Hopefully it has the same exact effect becasue that would lead to a 14-2 record. LOL!
