just saw a clip from the post game with saban speaking on the phins offense..in one part, he refers to the running game as great, thetight end as great and then calls the receievers DECENT...im pretty usr ehe was talking in terms of the season as a whole..i just thought it was interesting to hear saban refer to these guys as deecent, makes u think that that al the criticisms at chambers especially are made valid when the coach isnt huge on his receivers.

Chambers and Booker have both dropped a few balls, and David Boston has even played lately...I think the WRs have been overrated and played underpar. The talent is there however, and the countless underthrown, overthrown, balls thrown behind, by our QB doesn't help. I still truly believe Booker is our #1 WR and should be treated that way, he was a beast in Chicago with much more poorer QBs than the one we have.

I think CC would thrive as a #2 WR for us, he wouldn't have to face the best CB's in the league.

I think your absolutly right !!!!! IF WE HAD A TRUE # 1 RECEIVER cc could be deadly due to the fact that he doesnt have the best cover corner or double teams focusing on him.. But that #1 receiver to take the heat off of him is exactly what we are missing. Where and when do we go get him ?????

He might, it all depends on who the other team decides to cover. You could call Randy Moss your number 2 WR, line him up over there and Defenses would still cover him like he was a number one. It makes no difference.

I've always been a huge Chambers fan...but the more I watch him...the more I think it's him..and not the QB. He's just not the player the Dolphins want him to be and they rely on him to make the plays when I just don't think he can make them.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. I use to make up any old excuse for him. Point the finger in all directions except at him. Where it belonged.

He is inconsistent, lacks aggressiveness and the discipline needed to put forth 100% effort every play.

I Love Chambers, But He Always Looks For The Flag,
Most Of The Time Its Him Who Interfers W/ The Db.
There Is Much Blame To Go Around On This Offense Though.
I Think They Could Turn It Around In This Division.

Ok, Chambers deserves some blame when he messes up, but we still have to face the reality that we're still not giving Chambers the optimal chances to succeed. I can't remember how many times I've seen a deep pass thrown Chambers' way that was just uncatchable or stupidly thrown. Right now, accuracy is a pretty key difference between 23 catches for 352 yards with 2 TDs, and 27 catches for 552 yards and 5 TDs.

If you REALLY want to get a perspective on our quarterback situations, you really have to go watch other teams. Watch other games and how other teams operate. It will help you realize that it is not just the offensive line. Other teams have better QB play.

CC always disappears against the better corners in the league. He lacks the ability to get seperation consistantly and it always seems as though the DB outfights him for the ball. CC needs to get more agressive with bodies around him and the ball coming his way. I would love to see him go through a defender to get the ball, even if it would mean a penality against him. He just doesn't seem to "want" it bad enough in those situations...

Are you blaming Chambers for the short hop on 3rd down at the end of the first half? Funny, but that should have been an easy 6 points especially when considering that there was no pressure on Frerotte. How the heck does any QB at this level miss on such an easy throw. It didn't even have to be perfect.
How about the wide open pass to Diamond in the 2nd quarter of the Tampa Bay game.
The problem is mostly on Gus.

but if we had a wide out better than chambers they would double him a let cc go with single coverage

When he does get seperation he gets the ball over thrown.
