I really like that Saban spent the time thinking deep into the future when he set up the staff. Houck should do a very good job grooming him into the future O-Line coach.

Saban did show alot of foresight when he put this staff together by getting a ton of assistant coaches. Hopefully guys like Davis will be able to step in if Houck ever leaves.

Saban was really smart about his coaching staff, Mueller was a good choice also. I think he learned from mistakes made by guys like Spurrier who just thought they could take a college system and college coaches and win in the NFL. The best coaches in the NFL have great assistants.
