A typical headcoach B.S. session;
"On the accuracy of Gus Frerotte) – “He does it really well on 7-on-7. He does it really well when he is not getting the wet knocked out of him. That is a confidence issue too, based on the people around you. He has not probably thrown the ball as accurately in the last two games, but he has also gotten bounced around more in those two games. He needs to do that better, but we need to help him out a little bit more too."
In the game against K.C....according to Fox sports....Gus was sacked twice but so was Green. Yet Green threw for 277 net yds...while Gus threw for 115 net yds. Add the 77 that Sage picked up and it's still below 200 yds. Aren't we all glad that Gus plays well on 7 on 7!
The reason why the Dolphins lost that game is easy to see....even after watching it...on third downs....K.C. was 8-17 for a 47% efficiency...while the Dolphins were 3-13 for a whopping 23% efficiency. Very hard to win games when your offense is sitting on the bench for 41 mins and 40 sec's.
