Why do these people all seem to be trying to get away from the Dolphins? First Saban goes down a level back to college, Quinn wanted out and wouldn't sign a long-term deal (which resulted in him getting fired), and now it seems Mueller is trying to squeeze himself out. Mueller won't close the loophole and Wayne 's comments make it seem like he is preparing for Randy to bolt.

My question is, what is wrong with this franchise that people are trying to leave? Is it Wayne himself?

I haven't heard anything official about Quinn / Mueller wanting out. Where are you getting this information??....

The rats are getting off the sinking ship. I can't blame them, if I wasn't such a fan, I'd do the same thing.

Sun-Seninel is reporting that Quinn refused to sign a contract extension. This resulted in Cameron firing him. Sounds to me like Quinn wanted out.

Mueller on the other hand isn't going to get the Titans job, yet Wayne "doesn't know" if he will still be with the team. It isn't good news when the owner doesn't know if the GM is staying. Something is up there.

it's not Wayne, he puts up the dough and is a great employer. he gave Saban this big coaching staff that he wanted and gave him complete trust, he has done the same with past coaches

No it's not Wayne. It's not Wayne who has turned this entire process into a circus side-show.

Who lacks more vision, Stevie Wonder or Miami Dolphin fans? A question for the oracle at Delphi.

After reading some articles on the subject, I deduce that management and staff personnel are not returning next year because of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

If I were Randy Meuller, I'd also not close that loop-hole because it will bring me more dinero in the long term. Good for Randy. It shows he's smart when it comes to negotiation time. That time of attitude and skill set will pay dividens if the Dolphins manage to retain his services. He should be set to negotiate contracts which will favor the Dolphins in the salary cap, unlike Speilman, who gave Chambers that ridiculous contract.

Thanks guys, and my apologies to Crypt. Obviously I've been out of the loop on this subject....

I must say the article on Mueller is very disturbing. It sounds like he's no longer interested in being our GM, and Wayne can't do anything to keep him. If he takes the Titans job, we may be in trouble come draft day.....

As for the long term future without Mueller, we'll manage as long as Wayne can hire someone equally qualified. It wont be easy though.....

I was hoping Cam and Mueller would have some chemistry and help rebuild this team.

I'm hoping all of this is merely about money, and that Wayne will give into Mueller's demands{whatever that may be}. It would be a shame, after all the devotion he expressed during the head coach search / hire, to see him leave us now.....

I personally don't understand what goes on behind closed doors in the NFL days, but at the Phinz facility, it appears there's something bad brewing right now I'm afraid. The two sides sound like a devorce is imminent.....

Like I said, let's just hope this is all a ploy by Mueller to get a better contract deal in Miami. If not, we're going to suffer some fallout when / if he leaves.....

I thought this organization hit rock bottom three seasons ago. Are we digging even further down now? My God! Who makes GM the last priority? We sign Dom Capers, Cam Cameron, and THEN Randy Muller? :fire: That's if he even wants to be here anymore. Apparently working for the Miami Dolphins is not all it's cracked up to be.

We will be fine!!

Eventually yes, but with the draft coming up, and being that this is Cameron's first season as an NFL head coach, he's going to need someone like Mueller by his side in order to get things moving in the right direction....

I wont cry if we lose Mueller, but it's just like losing a highly qualified employee. He wont be easily replaced....

I feel embarrased and ashamed. There's got to be a reason why more people want to leave this franchise than be a part of it. And WH is suppose to be one of the best owners in the league. I don't get it and I don't like it. :shakeno:
