In the Jets game did anyone see Saban screaming at Cliff Russell at the top of his lungs! I did and wasn't surprised when I saw he had been cut. I think it was after a special teams play, not sure though what he did wrong on the play but he got cut when he got back to Miami. Maybe Vick will be a better choice, Saban obviously thinks so.

How about screaming at those DB's that bit on a double move or couldn't break up a TD pass....I think that those plays were more devastating than any gaff that Cliff Russell may have made.

The Dolphins had one of the busiest offseasons in the NFL. Hindsight and Madden are nice, but don't apply to current reality.
Saban was pissed at Russell for getting close to the ball on a punt return in a dangerous situation rather than pulling off as everyone was directed to do by Welker, etc....Russell almost touched the ball being dumb.

We don't know how russell has conducted himself since the start of the season. Either way, this was probably the last straw for him.
