CBS just listed 3 coaches in consideration for the UM job..

Grey Schiano, Steve Spurrier and Nick Saban.

Why hasnt Saban shot this crap down yet? I still think there is ZERO chance Saban goes back to college this year, but seeing his name out there for these jobs is a bit unsettling.

He's not going to be fired so it seems people are just assuming he's going to quit. I have no idea what makes them think that.

They are proably just throwing names out there and because Saban coaches in Miami they just threw his name in there at his next PC he will say he is not interested.

well he did get fired bro.......but that list is ridiculous considering spurrier already said he didnt even know he was mentioned as possibly leaving until his freakin daughter told him ....dont read into this crap bro

I think Muscle979 meant SABAN isn't getting fired, so people assume he will quit. At least that is the only thing that makes sense, since Coker already got fired, lol.

did you mean grey schiano cause i have never heard of brad schiano, i am pretty sure you are talking about greg schiano the coach from rutgers. he is my number one choice for the job because he is a good recruiter and familiar with miami as he was an assisstant there before going to rutgers

That baby freaks me out! Looks like something out of the movie signs. :(

I doubt Saban would leave a job with the Dolphins to coach the Hurricanes who are located in the same city... he would never hear the end of it... especially when a lot of us here are Hurricane fans.

sabans not going anywhere those reports are just pathetic assumptions

The same thing was going around here in Cleveland that if Crennel were to get fired from the Browns that Jim Tressell would leave Ohio State to coach the Browns. No truth to it but stuff like that still goes around.

After watching the press conference today, the biggest reason why Saban can't be a realistic consideration is because Saban would have to take the job within the next week or so (recruiting season). That can't happen. Whomever UM choses to be the new coach, has to take the job immediately. It is prime recruiting season as we speak. The new coach needs to come in within the next week or two. He will be the UM representative visiting with recruits for Miami and that will be going on for the next couple weeks. Miami should already have their man in their crosshairs as we speak. Expect, to hear an announcement within the next few days (not weeks).
