When Saban got here here we were all excited and not many peeps doubted that this guy would turn it around. I hated from the beginning how he spoke, he talked to the media like my second grade teacher, He talks down to people, yet we still had hope. The Dolphins had good talent with the exception of a QB when Saban got here. And INMO he messed up our DB's set, something he was supposed to be good at.

Cam spoke the other day and you can tell he was prepared to say things like his wife loving SOFL just to set everyone at ease. Yes he did say some good things, but I think it all starts with the Draft and how they do. I think this off-season will be a great time to watch him.

Saban- Not a people person, Bad decisions, poor leader

Cam- People person- we'll see, Decisions- ??? (Some people judge him by the bolts vs pats game as not good)
Leader- Still don't know

My point is , we can bang on Saban cause we know he's a loser in the NFL

Cam, is got one on him, he's great as a O Coordinator in the NFL, but the qualities of a HC are still in his control whether he'll be good or not.

Go Cam!!!

If Cameron fails, then a lot of people failed, not just Cameron.

If Cameron fails, then so did Mueller, Capers, and the team. Unlike saban, cause when he failed, HE failed.

You're right, but that doesn't erase the fact that we'll go through this all over again.

I personally think he will be successful and will end up being here for the long haul. That is if WH doesn't sell the team

We spent alot more time looking for a head coach this time we just didnt decide on a guy right a way saban is a loser he is no good Cam Camron is goingto be a good coach and is what we need in a head coach that can improve are offense

hey i am new here can anyone tell me how to get pictures on my profile and where to find pictures

In time Saban would have been successful here, I have no doubt. Remember He left the team, it didn't quit him. It's time to move on and it's nice having an offensive mind as a HC for the first time.

I said it during the search itself. I want to get the best coach available that WANTS TO BE HERE!!! I can see that Cam genuinally wants to be in South Florida, he wants to be the Coach of the Miami Dolphins and he wants to make this his home for a long time. I am all for that.

I am happy that we have an offensive minded head coach. I think the biggest problem is that there was no "sexy" head coach like when we got Saban. That probably the one of the reasons people have their doubts about Cam. Yes his record in Indiana is of concern, but only time will tell about how he works here. I think we were too hasty with Saban. He had quit on other teams before. I'm glad WH took his time this year and hopefully he got the right man this time.

I think Wayne got the right guy ... maybe the best guy available this year. I was impressed with his press conference. I know one thing, it'll be different than it was with Saban. It sounds like Wayne's hiring team really worked hard on their coaching search. Nobody knows for sure, but I think Wayne might have hit a home run with Cam. Cam and Randy seem like they'll make a good team. Randy even thinks they could be friends. That's a good sign. We shall see.

Just look at the 5 of the finaly 8 playoff teams left this season. Payton (Saints), Reid (Eagles), Holmgren (Seahawks), Billick (Ravens), and Marty at San Diego. Everyone had questions about each of these men when they were each hired as head coaches for the first time being promoted from Coordinators. Cam may or may not be like any of these guys when his story is written, but, at least there is a recent past there that tells a story of success.

I really like Saban, but just the way the entire LSU thing went down, I knew in my heart the guy was not in it for the long haul. Look at his track record - five years and out. I honestly thought he'd have more intergrity than to jump mid-contract, but while dissappointed, I wasn't terribly surprised by it.

On to Cam - I like the challenge he put down for cpep - and I paraphrase, but this is pretty close "the QB has to be the hardest working player on the team, there's little negotiation there [as in, none]". Now, if we've got a man on board that's up to the challenge, I think we'll be alright.

I have the feeling Cam is a very capable head coach. I think Cam is one of the many very good coaches that make up our coaching staff. The key is Randy Mueller, and how good the chemistry is between him and Cam. One very good sign is when Mueller said (during the interview) that when Cam was discussing his style/ philosophy, Mueller thought he was looking into a mirror. That was good to hear. If Mueller can make key personel decisions in concert with this talented coaching staff we have, that will have a big impact on our success.

Cam says he feels privaleged and it to be an honor to coach our Dolphins. That is the way it should be for any coach to get a HC gig in the NFL. I don't feel Saban ever went about it like that, it seemed as it was a formality for him. Only time will tell who is the better coach for the Dolphins, but I think we'll be alright with Cam.
