Saban Wants Boo'ing to Stop

In his press conference Saban pretty much asked the fans to stop boo'ing. Do you think they will get the message? personally I think you have the right to boo to express your frustration, but I think most people are doing it because they are tired of having bad qb's here and want to let the coaches and players know it. However, if saban asks for it to stop maybe people will listen.
 
Saban is scaring me with this. Just coach and don't worry about the fans and what they do!
 
Oh this poor guy. He just doesn't get a lot of the Miami fans. A lot are not there to even root for the Phins to begin with.

I'm sure the booing will now get louder!
 
he has to understand most dolphin fans are fickle. which i cant stand about some people that root for this team.
 
The booing will turn to cheering when we start winning or at least start looking good playing.We stunk the place up on Thursday.
 
Well, he understands the averse psychological aspect and effect of booing.. But, what he does not seem to take into account, is that he should have a team that is so mentally strong, that no amount of booing should have an effect on their performance or mentality.

No, when your team is losing (preseason or not), throwing INT's for TD's, seeing hte same mistakes time and time again......FANS WILL BOO!

Want the boo'ing to stop. PLAY BETTER!

Don't cry about the fans boo'ing.
 
This title makes it sound worse than it actually is. It was stated earlier that he "hoped it would stop"... big difference. Do you think he's gonna encourage it?

Well, can't expect the fans to be happy with bad QBs. A "Yay! Feeley threw an interception returned for a TD! Again! Hooray!" wouldn't be an expected response. If he wants the fans to stop booing, then the Fins better start winning.

yeah, doesnt everybody hope the booing will stop. that usually means we're kicking a$$ when there's no boos
 
I think if it were not for last year, they would not be booing already. But I can see why Saban wants a new atmosphere and a little patience. It's not like his team has sucked for two years, but the fans don't see that. They feel that they have endured enough and at least want some excitement. So far there just hasn't been much. It can all turn around soon though. Even we here on the forums get frustrated when things are not working during games and we don't boo online, but we make some pretty crabby comments about our team. It's just frustration. Saban isn't really recognizing what we've been through the last 12 months, after years of a solid team on the field and growing used to it.
 
Although I'm not quick to boo. Saban needs to understand that fans have invested alot of time and money into this team and have a right to voice their opinion.if the team is stinking up the joint and it's in the form of boos than so be it, you're in the big leagues now coach.....

between this, and threatening jobs over media leaks, is this guy not beginning to strike some of you as a complete control freak? ... c'mon Nick... you have one of the 32 best jobs in the entire world... and you're making millions, at that... let the fans do their thing ... lighten up...
