I think Saban did one of the best coaching jobs in football last year. Winning 9 games with Gus Frerotte as the starter. Something not really thought of as possible anymore. And the biggest thing to me anyways, when we lost the Cleveland game, 99 percent of the teams in the league that lose that type of game, go into the tank. Saban had them play hard the whole way through, helped them build confidence, and got us to 9-7. Is there any reason to think that if we get off to a good start, and start to gain some confidence, we shouldn't win 11-12 games. And that is before you talk any of upgrading talent wise, like Brees at QB. Factor in now Saban has 1 full year as NFL head coach, adding Mike Mularkey and Dom Capers, I think we have all the pieces coming together to be a major player this year, not just for the AFC East, but to be the first home team to reach the Super Bowl. Not just wishful thinking.
