Watch out for saban to get another one of his LSU players in the draft I almost garentee that he will in the later rounds.

Definitely in the later rounds, he could find a real talent that only he knows what the player can do.

I'd love to see Landry fall to Miami's pick in the second round. If that happened, I'd be a bit surprised to see Nick pass him by.

i wouldnt be upset if he did, he still know how to grab a steal in the later rounds, he got two of them this year for us, i think he could get at least one more, hes only 1 year removed from college.....

If JeMarcus Russel wasn't a Sophomore I'd be putting money on Saban gunning on him, but he needs to solve the QB position this year, so I doubt he is in our future.

Yeah, there should be a couple of LSU DTs and a LSU OT in this draft. Along with their safety.

Its nice that Saban will have inside info on these guys. Saban's first three drafts should be his best, considering he'll have inside info and still very good connections to college teams and players. Also, these will be our best draft positions we'll have (because of our record).

exactly what i was thinking also...

Yeah, don't overlook a guy like Kyle Williams. He would be a little undersized in the 3-4 but he plays with a lot of heart and a great motor. Landry would be a good pick, along with a guy like Whitworth.

If we end up picking in the 11th-15th range I guess saban might consider getting landry

That seems about 10-15 picks high for Landry. Actually, that brings up a good point. It could work out depending on who the Broncos are after that Miami could trade down with them and pick up those two first rounders they have. In that sort of situation, Miami suddenly has a pick in the range Landry seems to be going in on many mocks.

At this time of the years is there any way of knowing how many pics Saban will actually have, and how many in the top rounds?
