Saban won't tolerate excuses

Then he needs to set the example & stop making them.

(Infield Dirt excuse)

Jimmy Johnson and Wanny made the same speeches. Hopefully Saban can get em to listen

Saban is absolutely right. The past few years this team made these same dumb mistakes and all we kept hearing from Wannstedt was the mistakes "can be corrected". These mistakes like false starts and unsportsman like conducts got us beat constantly and those players who commit those kind of penalties should be yanked from the game fight away.

It's great to see a coach with that type of passion and desire to win. For to long excuses has been made for the poor play of the offense on this team, no way saban puts up with that crap. Another thing....Randy always seems to have an answer for everything.

WTF are you talking about... He has been very upfront and direct.

hes not going to turn this team into a 12-4 in one season.

He making this team accountable to a man. Something thats hasnt happend in literally 10 years. Wanny ran a training camp comarable to ClubMed for the past 4 years.

You should be happy there is a coach to come here and kick some a$$!

And by the way.. every team.. every player.. and every coach and organization realize the difficulties of playing on dirt. It has be stated over and over and over.

Saban come out and talks about Disciplne, focus, and execution... Which is a pleasant way of saying guys are sucking and getting their a$$ kicked.

Those arent excuses. Those are the facts. Just because he doesnt come out and speak in laymans terms doesnt mean he isnt sayin it like it is.

First off you need to hear the press confence cause there were a WHOLE LOT of words said that didn't end up in the article.

The best saying out of the whole thing was Nicks response about his kids he said and i quote " Your actions are speaking so loudly i can't hear what you are saying) in refrence to no beeing prepared and making excuses!!!!!

He tore into the press, well more the subject of being prepared using excuses. He hates excuses and things as he said they are utter "BULL $**T"

Did you not catch the excuse that the reason Gus did not move the offense the other night was because he was on the dirt infield the whole time?

That is an excuse.

Then we do not need Gus out there. The only reason to start Gus this year is if Miami can compete for a title.

I'm sure he is, but he needs to stop making excuses for Gus's failures.

Funny how when JJ left, Miami needed a coach that was more laid back, then when Wanny left they needed someone that would kick their butt.

You always need the opposite coach from the one that just left. Funny isn't it?

Still an excuse. I doubt the same would have been done for one of the other QBs.

My comment was about the infield excuse. Nothing else.

To me you sound upset because feeley isnt a starter.. Plain and Simple. I dont get the impression you do... feeely SUCKS massively... Every.. I mean EVERY sprots news outlet has reported GUS the starter practically all camp. If feeley was so good he would haventhe job... END OF STORY.
You dont rellay back your statements.. you just keep saying.. he got to stop keep making exucses... WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WASNT HIM TO SAY... ?

The dirt infield has always been a problem .. where have you been.. Saban Also said.... IT WAS THE SAME FOR BOTH TEAMS SO THERES NO EXCUSES.!

IF YOU ARENT GOING TO BACK THE TEAM WITHOUT TRYING TO RIP EVERY MINISCULE BIT APART.. YOU BETTER BUY YOURSELF PLENTY OF ASPIRIN MY FRIEND... ITS GOING TO BE A LONG SEASON.

Who the hell said we needed a more laid back coach?...It sure as hell wasn't me....You should join the Miami media dude...You take half a sentence from Saban out of 5 weeks of pre-season press conferences and say he's making excuses...If anything...his dirt remark was probably a lobbying measure to get rid of the stinking Marlins so we can have a real football field again! Need I remind you that of all NFL fields Miami's was ranked 2nd to last!
