Saban won't tolerate excuses

To me you sound upset because feeley isnt a starter.. Plain and Simple. I dont get the impression you do... feeely SUCKS massively... Every.. I mean EVERY sprots news outlet has reported GUS the starter practically all camp. If feeley was so good he would haventhe job... END OF STORY..

I'd rather have AJ or Sage starting. At least there is a chance they might improve.

Did I say it was you? It was a blind reference, that when teams have a laid back coach and he fails then you need a hard arse coach & vice versa.

You should join the Miami media dude...You take half a sentence from Saban out of 5 weeks of pre-season press conferences and say he's making excuses.

Its the timing that was off. You do not make an excuse for a player, then turn around and a day or two later say "No more excuses"

If anything...his dirt remark was probably a lobbying measure to get rid of the stinking Marlins so we can have a real football field again! Need I remind you that of all NFL fields Miami's was ranked 2nd to last!

Might have been, but to follow it up with a comment of "No more excuses" was not the best timing

Saban can talk all he wants about not accepting excuses. When the time comes that he has to take a more talented player out of the lineup, to play his less talented back-up who doesn't false start as much, is when we'll see if he's all talk or not. It's a nice little utopian thought but, when you need guys that can beat the other teams' guys on Sunday, that sentiment will get swept under the rug.

Has nothing to do with evaluation of Gus. Has everything to do with Saban making an excuse for it, then commenting that there would be no more excuses.

Its about the excuse not the play of Gus.
