a couple standout really good choices,
ronnie brown, 1'st round
channing crowder 3rd round
travis daniels 4'th round

lots of unproven choices, and choosing matt roth in second round last year might have been saban's worst choice, as he hasn't done anything...

in fact all i saw him do was get excited over a "sack" that he didn't even cause, traylor really got the sack and matt roth just fell on top of him.. then he gets up and starts acting all big and bad like hes jason taylor ...... pretty dumb considering he got pushed around all day

yah i know i was just commenting on them..

i really like his choice of ronnie brown with #2 overall. instead of taking cadillac "hurt again" williams, he picked the more durable guy who may be able to run for us for a long time.

ronnie is really good, and u could see it in the game vs pitt. on a few plays he single handedly broke through multiple defenders... and pitt is supposed to be good at tackling. and if u watch one play where a db actually comes up to try and stop him... ronnie lowers his head and plows the db, who falls straight to the floor, however there was a linebacker already next to ronnie who tackled him

sick play tho, ronnie cant be stopped by most DB, he runs them over =p

Matt Roth put pressure on the QB on his own that play.

Im not very impressed with Channing Crowder he hasnt really stood out to me. I dont remember him doing anything but making tackles 10 yards down the field.

Wasn't Crowder second on the team in sacks last year to only Zach? Might want to check that. Crowder is an impact player and is going to be a stud. He is only 22, is even.

You really should start watching games.

Could you give Roth a year? You say he hasn't done anything, but he needs more snaps -- its really hard to make a lot of sacks when you are playing in goal line situations for the most part. C'mon.

he was jazzed because he flushed the qb into the tackle....and he's excitable...

Combine that with the fact he is playing behind ALL Pro's on that line . . . and that may be the reason why he hasn't looked as good as the others . . . definetly needs more snaps.

It's cool tho . . . with this probably being Holiday's and Traylors last seasons here in Miami . . . and JT and KC with few years left . . . he will have plenty of oppurtunity to make an impact on this line in the upcomming years.

and they won the super bowl, maybe we should cut ronnie, channing, and travis...

My point of my post was to bring light to the face that there are draft picks around the league that dont work out. NOWHERE did i say in my post that people should be cut. NOWHERE did i say that mentioned players arent contributing. My post is clear on what ONE particular team did as an analogy to the prospect of draft picks being contributors.

And those cuts came THIS year. And i dont think they cut any of their SB players.
Quote me properly please.

i agree. he isn't a playmaker he just gets tackles down the field. I havent' seen ne sacks, fumbles, int's, game changing tackles/hard hits. dissapointed honestly.
