Sabans Honymoon Is Officaly Over

If i am judging things correctly it looks like out of all of bilichecks disciples it looks like crennel 's honeymoon will last longer than sabans. i am not too angry with saban as i am with guss and the deffense. but i am concerned about whether or not nick is trying to bet a better posistion for the next draft? i would definately try to better this team in the draft by writing off this season and i would go after the best qb posible . i hope it would be brady quinn. or heck even trade for philip rivers.

It will mean nothing in the long run....to what end.....the Dolphins aren't good enough to win against the top teams....no way they can beat the Colts at home, the Steelers at home....heck I have my doubts they can beat the Pats at home. So we all jump for Joy...if by luck...if by chance...if by default...they win the Division at 8-8....like I said...to what end?

You definitely do not evaluate a rookie head coach after the first half of the season. That's ludicrous. He gets a free pass for this year. We weren't expected to do much this year, so to be playing a game for a tie in the division lead after the first half of the season is incredible. Screw throwing the season for the draft.

no ,no ,no, what i mean is the talk show of the wwls station here in okla. a guy was saying thats what the giants did to get Elly manning and if other teams are doing that dont you think the fins should do the same ? i dont like losing but hells bells guys we are losing anyway you look at it so why not rebuild across the board and start with the qb, cb, dt and wrs.

Besides, if we could win the division at 8-8, it means 7-9 would likely mean we just miss the division. Whats the advantage of one less win?

Rosco, I think you've been flamed enough in this thread, so I don't see the need to add to it.

It took Wanny 5 years to sink the ship, it is going to take more than one (and we are only 9 weeks into the new regime) to right the ship.

I do not think for one second, that there is ANY team in this league that would (or could) try to lose intentionally to better their position in a draft. Just the thought is rediculous.

very well said, tahts what i have been tryign to say for the past month. the hell does a 8-8 team do for us? nothing. we can't beat the real teams so why bothger iwht a 500 season when we can get a top 5 pick and bmake our team a 500 PLUS team next year? ppl want to get into the playoffs n such this year but are soo ignorant to see it wont happen and hell wont do us ne good cuz we wont be able to beat any damn team there. we say we will be so good next year right? imagine wiht a top 5 pick? that can help us just that MUCH more.
