Get rid of Malarky, and then you have a 3rd OC in your 3rd year. How many good OC's will consider us looking at our personnel ? Malarky has had a good reputation as an OC, and if he wasn't able to get things going, who else can get this bunch of losers to perform ? They will look at the job with a wary eye for job security. Not a good way to attract qualified people for the job.

You say "we'll get all new players".

That's easy to say, but harder to do. And it also can take as much as half a season for a new offense can gel together. That means we could be looking at a very slow start again next year. This has got to be eating at Saban, and I really think he may be questioning his decision to leave LSU.

I really don't envy Nick Saban right now. He has to be very frustrated. :shakeno:

 Been saying in some of my other posts he has a "Why Did I take this job?" look on his face durring the games.

What if Ricky comes back next year? You can automatically gain about another six to seven wins with him in the line up. Mularky should start looking for a new residence because he wont be in Miami next year, unless a miracle happens.

Sarahann I think he very much thinks about that a lot. He was set for another 10 years at LSU.

This job here in Miami looks like it will take all of his 5 years just to get it on track. Will Mr Wayne (as Nick calls him) give him another contract ? Will he get the chance to see it through or will Wayne discard him after 5 years of disappointment ?

I think you overestimate Ricky's value. He didn't exactly set the CFL on fire this year. He also is 3 years older from his last good year in the NFL. For a RB that is a lifetime, as the average career is only about 4 or 5 years.

We all have to concede Ricky is not what he was in 2002, and will never be that good ever again.
