I've figured out our gameplan for every week. And that is "take what the defense gives us". He's said that in a couple of PRs. I really, really dislike that philosophy. We go into each game with a gameplan. We watch films of the teams and take notes of their weaknesses. We go into the game with the idea of exploiting them. My problem and question is, how have we played each team differently? Havn't we done the same things for the past four wks. In a nutshell... run ronnie early until we go down but maybe a td early in the game, then we do quick slants or little hitches. We start everygame with some kind of bs PA that gets daunte smothered. Every game we have the intentions of starting out with a big pass and daunte gets sacked. We've done the same things for the past four wks.

"Taking what the defense gives us" Doesn't that mean the defense is dictating the way we're playing?? Isn't that the most passive philosophy you've ever heard of? When are we going to attack, when are we going to make them pay?!!! When is our runningback going to pound them in the mouth repeatedly? We give up on what wins us games. We run, we win. We're allowing teams to dictate our play! His one fault... Mularkey.

What plays would you call when your oline lacks the talent/ability/attitude to impose it's will? It's fun to run off tackle or gaurd...But, when your RB is getting greated by DTs two yards deep, you gotta try somthing else.

If Culpeppers gonna throw out of shotgun 99% of the time then you might as well run out of shotgun so you at least have the benefit of them not knowing your running the ball. But thats the least of the problems this game was just pathetic today there is no excuse for it.

The continuous shotgun formations baffled me. I thought I was watching a college offense today at Reliant. Only this college team couldn't even score more than the average college team. Just sad, how Mularkey is bringing this offense down. We may as well start getting Derek Hagan into the game so he will be ready for next season when this team will be dismantled. As for the defense they play relatively well until it's a critical 3rd down and the other team almost converts everytime it truly means something.
