I've figured out our gameplan for every week. And that is "take what the defense gives us". He's said that in a couple of PRs. I really, really dislike that philosophy. We go into each game with a gameplan. We watch films of the teams and take notes of their weaknesses. We go into the game with the idea of exploiting them. My problem and question is, how have we played each team differently? Havn't we done the same things for the past four wks. In a nutshell... run ronnie early until we go down but maybe a td early in the game, then we do quick slants or little hitches. We start everygame with some kind of bs PA that gets daunte smothered. Every game we have the intentions of starting out with a big pass and daunte gets sacked. We've done the same things for the past four wks.
"Taking what the defense gives us" Doesn't that mean the defense is dictating the way we're playing?? Isn't that the most passive philosophy you've ever heard of? When are we going to attack, when are we going to make them pay?!!! When is our runningback going to pound them in the mouth repeatedly? We give up on what wins us games. We run, we win. We're allowing teams to dictate our play! His one fault... Mularkey.
