Saban's Rating Through Day 1

What level would you rate Saban for his first three choices??

I think I would give him a "B-", I like having Brown on our team, but IMO we could have gotten a good RB in later rounds out the draft. I also think Dan Cody is better then Roth. Cant say much about Crowder......dont know a thing about the guy, I just hope we take Shazor in round 4. But all and all I think Saban had a good draft.

Dan Cody is not better in the Saban system than Roth. Just read what players Saban likes and look at Roth's size, speed and skill. He likes the bigger players. Cody is a smaller player. If Roth puts some more bulk on him, he is another defensive end that could go tackle on passing downs.

I've gotta give him an "A." Some folks had Crowder as the best overall MLB, and Roth as a top five DE. Kiper said that Roth has as much potential as Pollack. Obviously Ronnie is going to DOMINATE.

It's a real shame that we traded #35 and #66 last year, though...

Saban definitely gets an "A." So far, he's been great. All three picks could've gone in the first round. All are immensly talented and should help our team out in a great, great way. I'm all excited. Here's to tomorrow!:D
