Has anyone seen it. I TIVO Coachspeak Plus and just saw it and I laughed out loud. He's going to bring a "damn dictionary" to them from now on. He's also going to, "replace himself" to improve effienciency. He cracks me up. I like how he tries to nip stupid questions in the bud by addressing them in his opening statement.

I also get a kick out of his quips...sometimes I think he takes things a little too seriously though...he probably realizes that he needs to change his ways a little when it comes to addressing the press...he seems to always be defensive...

My favorite Saban moment has to be the one PC where he was fighting mad and cursed several times... then quickly changed to a joking manner and said that they'd need to edit those out, then immediately went right back to being annoyed at the press.

That's given me my best impression of Saban so far, I think: Someone who is serious and to the point, but isn't so caught up in themselves that they can't find humor in their actions.

that was a good moment; your post was a nice observation.

Larry, how can he be anything but defensive, it's the press!

I am always partial to the times Saban starts ripping the refs, stops short, and says "dont ask me about that, I'll get fined", then the first question asked just brushes the edge of the refs call....and.....boom, Saban goes on another rant about the call for 5 more minutes.

too funny.....he really could do without ever having to talk to the media!

thats saban. Its great. Favorite media moment for me was when payton was on the lakers and he had a bad game and they lost to detroit i think. He told the media wait till he is done shooting around. Then made them wait. Then he would be back in 5 minutes for a conference. And then 10 or 15 minutes later someone from the lakers told the media he left. I aint even a laker fan and that was funny.

Thats what saban is he pushes them far enough. Like on total access tonight where he showed the conference where he told the media, its a shame we have to close the playground cause some people dont know how to use the swings. One shot after another. And he is very very very very very very very very very...very careful what he says.

Why dont we just make it versus the Patriots and have John Madden be a guest announcer. I think we all know what that would be like.

:sidelol:
holy crap, could even hell be so cruel?
