I think sabens getting threw to the players. If you watched the postgame interviews the players sounded like they have been brainwashed by saben which is a good thing meaning they are starting to buy into his system.

he hasn't been getting through to some players for the past couple of weeks (Gus and Reggie come to mind and dumb OL players)

yeah we have a system. I think we need to start going w/ shorter passes as oposed to throwing the ball down field.

I agree, but I don't think we need to take the deep ball out of the game plan. We just need a QB to complete them once in a while to keep the defense honest.

Who in their right mind would actually throw Saban at his players?

On a serious note, Saban will get through to whoever wants to be here.

Just like in New England there was a long turnover time for a couple of seasons until Bellychuck got his players that wanted to work within his system.

Is the Dolphins system....run a trick play, overthrow, underthrow and run where the defenders are?

Yup. If we dont want Ronnie facing 8 or 9 in the box every play like Ricky used to we have to make defenses respect our deep ball.

EDIT : Saban's getting through to the players.

You get a C-

The 'through' not 'threw' error has been stated but no one caught the 'saben' error?

On topic, I hope so. I believe we have to hit rock bottom (under Saban) before players respond. They have to be broken of their current mentality, their current beliefs and faulty habits. Saban must instill his philosophy and his will on to these players and that usually doesn't happen over night.

He hasn't broken through to them yet, however, as evident by the KC game.
