You remember the time Nick Saban made Manuel Wright cry. For being a professional athlete that was fat and out of shape. Everyone in the media and most Miami fans thought Saban was to hard on Wright. To be the best hard work and sweat is necessary. If it was easy everyone could do it. There is a reason Nick Saban and his Roll Tide are more prepared than any other team. Every time Saban wins a championship he only celebrates for 24 hours after that it's planning for the next season. "One thing about championship teams is that they're resilient. No matter what is thrown at them, no matter how deep the hole, they find a way to bounce back and overcome adversity." - Nick Saban
I truly believe Adam Gase can get this Team to where it needs to be. It's up to Tannehill to soak up the knowledge he is thrown at him. He's got the weapons, he just needs some protection now which he needed for about three seasons ago but everyone working in our franchise were blind. Being a die hard Miami fan you see the blind leading the blind, now Gase can see. He mentioned in his press conference that he highly praised Nick Saban. Gase has a photographic memory and when someone like a Saban comes and mentors and molds you, you for a fact come out of the ring a champion. Manning has the utter most respect for Gase because Gase showed Manning how to be the best he can be. That is why Manning had his career best years under Gase as his Offensive Coordinator. Things are defiantly looking up for the Dolphins. Now it's time to build our defense to being a top 3 in the NFL. I don't think Omar could see this vision.

Saban has nothing to do with this current team, other than his laughable failure as a HC/GM

If Saban Chose Bree's over Culpepper this would be a whole different story.

Too bad college football is more about recruiting.

Saban is a better recruiter than coach.

When Gase mentioned "the process" during his introduction, I thought of Saban. He uses the term a lot in his pressers.

Thought the story was he did but was overruled by our great medical staff.

I couldn't stand it when Saban compared coaching to parents getting their kids ready to take a test. He did that a lot, these are grown men.

Didn't think the story had anything to do with Nick Saban's tenure at Miami but oh well. For some reason people on this board can't get over things and Nick Saban is one of them. I thought it was a great post about how young and hungry Gase is and the positive effect it will have in Miami. If you wanna talk college football then do so, don't try to overshadow a great post with complete bull.

What do you mean by complete bull?

To say that Nick Saban isn't that good of a coach is what I mean. Hate him for bailing on a what we already know as a dysfunctional franchise all you want. But don't spew lies saying all it takes to be successful in college football is recruiting. FO with that. You had a great post of optimism and change. To me it felt like it started to turn into remember the Saban days by the people commenting.

pure ignorance to think that college football success is only about recruiting
