I did not get to watch the game today, where did the 3 sacks come from? Against this Defense that is too many, I believe? Thank you in advance to all who help me out here.

I remember one against Albert, and one against Pouncey. Not sure on the third.
 
Against that defense? . . . I swear people underestimated Washington . . . many people have them with a top 10 dline.

One sack came on Albert (he got hurt on that play i believe), one was on the right/center (Douglas or Pouncey) and the other one was a coverage sack where Ryan should of got rid of it . . . think the RB got blown up. Not 100 percent sure.
 
Overall Ryan had very good protection and I didn't hear Dallas Thomas's name once which is an encouraging sign. I thought him and Douglas played well.

Douglas was an animal in space. Looks like a perfect guard for our offense. Others were unhappy with Dallas Thomas, but I only recall seeing him getting blown back on 3-4 plays, and he did not give up a sack.
 
Thank you all for the replies. Did I hear Albert got hurt, what happened and is he ok?
 
Thomas got blown up bad on one play against Hatcher and people consider that has the judge/jury of his game. That's a damn good DLine and he won today . . . . even if he got pushed back on a few plays.
 
2 of the sacks are on Tannehill. Poor pocket presence and holds the ball too long.
Very tentative today. I was hoping for better
 
I think there was one play where Dallas Thomas' guy got the sack, but thats because the entire line was pushed back and RT stepped up right into that guy. The run blocking on the left side with Albert and Thomas was not good at all, and I really questioned both running to that side on 4th and 1 as well as having Damien Williams be the guy to do so.

He wasn't good today and very fortunate, but I did like the chemistry he has shown with Jordan Cameron . . . he'll be huge for this offense this year.

Ryan does need to elevate his pocket game if he wants to step up into that "next group" at QB. Certainly a weakness in his game.

Yea but on that play the run blocking was fine, the defender came from the right side unblocked.

That was Alberts man who got the sack on that playbut both Albert and Thomas were walked back into the pocket.
