Pass protection hasn't really been the weak point of this team this year. Run blocking needs some help and obviously the dumb penalties. Although this week, I think the defense had more bone headed penalties than the offense. To be more specific, Madison had more than the offense.

The pass protection may look artificially good because we've been utilizing so many quick passes... we've ran a lot of quick outs and flanker screens, etc. where the ball is out almost as soon as it's snapped. Not to say that the O-Line isn't better than last year (it is), but I wouldn't get *too* excited just yet.
