Among players expected to be franchised include Oakland DB Nnamdi Asomugha, Tennessee Albert Haynesworth, Kansas City DE Jared Allen, and possibly Green Bay DT Corey Williams.

Dont care much for allen and haynesworth but more for Asomugha and Williams. :( i dont wna see this coming.

Jared Allen is opening a sports bar in KC too....kinda ironic with all his DUI's lol
That Oakland DB would have been a nice addition...oh well
 
I dono how much Smith would cost/be worth. He did have a few good years i believe.

Smith at End and Long at LB? im down :)
 
If they don't tag Jared Allen, we need to look into acquiring him. He is a beast of a player and would be the best player available in free agency.

I wanted Nnamdi but if they let him go they'd be crazy. I'm not so worried about any of these players being tagged though, there are gonna other good players available at DT and CB in free agency.
 
build through draft, there are enough defensive line players this year to draft. we can help ourselfs through free agency by getting a couple wide receivers and maybe a db or two.
 
Outside of Haynesworth i dont care. I really have no interest in Jared Allen or any of those other players.
 
Aso being tagged was a guarantee before the season even ended.
 
Very suprised that Andrews was franchised. Maybe a first round tender but have never seen a player do so little and get franchised. Andrews did well last year. Just another lineman we could have drafted. Too bad we gave away a 4th rounder to move up from 20 to 19. God we have made some genius mistakes.

No that pick became Mewelde Moore but Andrews, Jared allen and jacob Bell came pretty close to that pick. We would have got Carey at that pick anyway but Speilaman got duped.
