...And its not because of the a "crappy draft" or the questionable picks...Which I totally disagree with (we had a good draft thus far)...But back to the sad day...It's because of the Dolphin "FANS" at the practice bubble...and the attitude of the Dolphin "fans" on this website...But this is honestly crazy...The Dolphins are my favorite team and i get very offended when people pretend to be fans...I cant believe everyone gets so pissed off about a supposivly "crappy" draft...We drafted four quality football players and whether you agree with me or not...there should not be so much negativity surrounding this draft if you consider yourself a fan...

Here here. But get ready to be bombarded with angry posts.

But I applaud your courage and agree.

If you believe it's a crappy draft you have every right to be pissed. I think some people are going overboard, but that doesn't make them lesser fans than those who believe that we had a good draft. It's just a matter of opinion...

Also agreed. I really don't understand the "crappy" draft standpoint either. Wish I could see into the future too. :-)

i agree buddy,,,just do what i do and battle them as much as you can,,,,,their knowledge of the game is so inferior that they must compensate and vent their anger, people that booed cam, people that are negative in a disrepectful way are inferior people that have a low iq

I have no problem with people saying they think we had a bad draft...But....But....But...People saying they are finding it hard to be Dolphin fans after the draft...and all the classless fans BOOING our new coach at the practice bubble........is just plain pathetic and down right embarassing to all us true Dolphin Fans....

Amen!

I am embarrassed by the booing fans. The whole world saw the classless overreaction by some so called fin fans.

Not even the Jet fans are this bad.

I like the picks. I predicted (and posted) Miami would pass on Quinn even if he was available at #9 and that a WR with SPEED is what we needed.

I really do feel bad for you Fins fans though. It was to the point where I was actually pissed off FOR you guys and I'm nowhere near a fan of your club. Everyone in the world knows you guys are desperate at the QB position and a QB who would have been a #1 pick any other year falls into your lap at #9 and all of the sudden, Dave Wannstedt takes over draft responsibilities for Miami.

If this happened to me, I'd try to see the positives in it too (ala Ted Ginn is fast, high ceiling, etc.) but this was bad anyway you look at it. Quinn is going to have a great career and Ginn is an expensive return man at this point. Quinn is going to have a great career. He won't be the next coming of Dan Marino, but he is going to be a good one. I don't know if I can say the same thing about Ginn.

The positive is that John Beck looks good though. I saw a few BYU games last season and he might fit in perfectly with Cam Cam's offense.

Well...as embarrassed as I was at the fans for booing, I was even more embarrassed listening to our coach explain that he's going to be a great returner and that he's a guy that Cam has known for over 10 years. Not sure how any of those two statements would put any of us at ease - sounds too Wansstedt-esque for my liking.

We had a very good 1st day draft IMO. All offense, when was the last time the fins went all offense on day 1?

I got the feeling we were targeting Ginn way back when Cam had his very first press conference when he got hired. Ginn Jr was the only guy he mentioned by name...

As for the pathetic reaction of the fans. :shakeno: It happens all the time. Remember Andy Reid getting booed when he drafted Donavan McNabb, It was the EXACT same bs...

You can't please everyone...I think Randy and Cam liked Beck on their visit to Provo, and I personally think they made the right decision. I also think Ginn is going to be a very good player, and Satele has a decent shot at being our new starting Center.... Lo Booker is kind of iffy, but he has all kind of potential, and is nice insurance in case Ricky hits the weed again.

And thus, we get a "good" QB (as you said) and still add a tremendous weapon in the passing game in Ginn.

So no, its not bad ANY way you look at it. It really does depend on how you look at it. At least from my perspective.

Guess what dick? I'm a die hard Dolphin fan and I'm pissed off at the fact that I know more about these prospects than our GM does! This draft was horrible and the more our ******* coaches get booed for it the better!
I'm supposed to feel bad for our joke of a front office? Are you serious?
Ted Ginn over Brady Quinn!!!
THIS HAS TO BE A JOKE!

Ted Ginn will never be a weapon in the passing game

As a matter of fact, as long as Marty Booker, Chris Chambers and Derek Hagan are on the roster, he will never crack a starting job. So nice try.

Exactly, it's the organization that should be embarrassed, not us. And why shouldn't we boo? We haven't properly addressed the QB position since forever. We never drafted someone for Marino to groom, and we haven't drafted a 1st round QB since he retired. And like gift, Quinn falls into our laps, and we still don't take him? This was an opportunity to properly address the one position that is everything in the NFL whether people want to believe it or not, and instead we took a guy who's currently wearing a protective boot and was drafted as a family favor. We have every right to be upset.
