Safety Brodney Pool

I believe he signed somewhere. He did a nice job filling in for Leonhard.

This is where the Jets are skating on thin ice. They need to stay relatively healthy because they have little depth. Losing Pool was big.

Pool did a nice job late in the year but leonhard is back, Smith is back, we have Lowery as a backup and a few lesser names. We'll be ok. You can't have depth everywhere and every year I hear about how we don't have depth yet every year we have key injuries and guys step up and we keep winning.

"keep winning every year". Jet fans think they are the pats. One good season. Backed into the playoffs the year before because of teams not playing their hardest. I know you aren't a typical jets fan, but at least be real. You have an awesome secondary. A decent front 7. A decent qb. No reliable running back. And a good WR. You are just as prone to depth issues as any other team.

You mean the team we have advanced further than the last 2 years? the team we beat in their building in the div rd last year? and you put "keep winning every year" in quotes but I didn't write that.


We backed in by winning 5 of our last 6 games:lol:

Whether you want to admit this or not we have one of the best teams in the league and it's going on 3 years now.
 
Wont hurt to bring him in for a look and to give us some insight on the Jets D...

Why would I have a problem admitting the jets are a great team, I obviously have no problem admitting new England as a great team. I never said the jets weren't good. But you know as well as I do that they got into the playoffs two years ago because of the colts laying down. They also haven't won the division either. IMO, they are in the top 10 of NFL teams. They could easily **** the bed this season. I just don't buy into the ny hype the media portrays. If plex buress went to the dolphins the media wouldn't care and would probably say he sucks, but he goes to the north east and it's considered a good pickup.
 
Brodney can play, he'll be a good pickup for some one. I'm still hopeful he comes back but we'll see.

The Colts pulled their startes w/ a qtr and a half to play in a 5 pt game, you guys act like we had nothing but creampuffs for 5-6 weeks like Miami at the end of 2008. We got a break and took advantage of it, that is what good teams do.

Have you notcied we have been better than NE each of the last 2 years? So if you can say NE is a top team why can't you say that about us? I heard we'd suck last year too and how much '09 was a fluke- how did that work out?

No matter where Plax went it would have been a big story.

New england has won the division the last 2 years. Which means over the course of the season they were better. Kudos to the jets for beating them in the playoffs. You guys got the wildcard the last 2 seasons. Which means you were a loss away from not making the playoffs.

By your rational. The dolphins are just as good as the jets because we split last 2 years. New England went 14-2 last year. Face it, they are better, right now at least.

We have won 4 playoff games and been to 2 title games inclduing beating NE on the road- we have been better. Reg season success is nice but it's about postseason.

If the dolphins advanced further in the playoffs then we did they'd be better but they haven't even competed for the playoffs. The only teams that can say they were better the last 2 years were the 4 SB participants.

Had we lost in week 17 last year we still would have made the playoffs and had the same seed.

I swear jet fans are dillusional. Just like when the eagles signed aso. Their message boards were full of people saying that aso didn't want to win because he went to the eagles not the jets. Newsflash, the eagles have been way better than the jets over the past decade. Only you guys can't see your blatent homerism.
