safety from bc

hey guys great to be back, just wanted to know what you guys thought of the safety from bc i belive his name is matt silva. (not sure though) he tied for the lead in ints in the nation and had like 120 tackles on the season. i know hes a sr and i was wondering what round would he fall in and to who?

I saw him play in one game. He has great instincts. He reads and reacts very well. He is always around the ball against the run and in passing situations . He has good stats but I just don't think he is athletic enough for the NFL. He looks kind a slowish in the game I saw. He also looks very small on the field. He would probably go in the 6th round. Just my opinion.

Jamie Silva is an outstanding football player has great instincts ,technique and football fundamentals down side is his speed but if you take the right angles and use proper technique it dont matter that much imo..I would say 6th rd also.I wouldnt mind the Phins getting him

I'm looking at Wesley Woodyard 6-1 215 4.43 OLB. Needs to be converted back to SS his original position in HS. As an OLB was 2nd in the SEC in tackles in 2006. Last yr 2007 he led the SEC in tackles. Should be picked high 3rd.

Silva EASILY goes before the 6th round. Trust me. Maybe a 4th or 5th. No way last til 6th. One of those guys who just knows how to play football.

I saw Jamie Silva today in the E/W game. He did really good. I would still take Woodyard over Silva, gotta check the combine see how his speed measures up. He has a headhunter approach, always around.

I had a vision of Allen and Woodyard, with Bell the backup, since he is injured so much. If we can get Silva would be good, he would shine on special teams.
