with R. Hill playing well and Y. Bell getting burned like Sammy Knight at Strong Safety why dont we try Jason Allen at the Strong Safety position? he's got the size, if he can just brush up on his tackling i think it could work.

otherwise we are stuck with one of our Free safety's riding the pine, when they both should be out there.

i do this in madden a lot because ppl pick on bell in coverage.

i agree with the poster, its obvious, but it was tough fighting sammy knight and our old lover boy brock the rock. we always have talented slow safeties. its a flaw in saban's system. we need athletic safeties nowadays with the west coast offense becoming obnoxiously unstoppable. its only a matter of time before the master peyton himself becomes a coach and owns the game of football.

There is no strong safety or free safety in our system, just right and left. Allen could play either side because the responsibilities are so similar.
