SAGE ranked above BRADY/PALMER this week???!!!!

272 yards in one quarter... think of four quarters of play? 272*4??? (lol I know it wouldn't be that much but around 320 would have been possible).

It's only 1 game. Any QB in this league can have a career day.

Yes but look at the other 4 on top of him... Look at the INTS, ATT/COMP ratios... How can you discard that?

There would have been pressure on him, and the only formation he is good out of is shotgun, they cant run that 75 times a game

he probally wouldnt have had 150 yards if he started

Very true, and just like any qb in this league can have a bad day, see Cleveland game.

Well does this say something or what? How is this possible? And we are not going to start him?

He only played 1 1/2 quarters and ranked higher in att/comp than more tha 2 #1 QBs!

I think everyone agrees that he deserves a chance to play but be realistic...how well has he done the times he started? Take a look at the stats. He is friggen superman when he comes in off the bench and a hack when he starts.

if we lose vs san diego I propose this

let Sage have a start, then Cleo Lemon the next week, we play 2 very poor teams

then whoever plays better in their start gets to play vs New England

Weel I do remember a few other QBs that came in to relieve good QBs and was given a chance to play the next game... Bledsoe/Brady and MAddox/Rothlesberger come to mind... NOt saying that SAGE is at that caliber, but having a game like that and to come back in to keep a flow/rythem going is a good thing for the whole team!

Pardon? None of the QBs you mentioned consistently played crappy as a starter and great as a relief but the most glaring error is that Sage did not come in to relieve a good QB

My bad... I didn't mean that GUS was good but that there have been several times in this league where a QB goes down and a back comes in only to find out that the back up has some raw talent and that over time with a few consecutive starts, they gain the confidence an skill to end up unseating the starter...
