Sage Rosenfels: "Ireland is the worst GM of my career"

Sage Rosenfels is mad because Ireland forbid him from doing any more bar mitzvahs.

We also lead the league in grievances filed against us according to SI.

Couple that with the statement (if true), that Ireland told Martin to punch Incognito, and I think Ireland may finally be out the door

Who knew Sage Rosenfels' opinion held any weight whatsoever?

I think the real question here is, why does Sage Rosenfels have a twitter account?

According to Rosenfels he played for 5 teams and 9 GMs and Ireland was the only 1 he had a problem with. Regardless of how good or bad a player he is (was) he still had dealings with plenty of GMs and is more than capable of comparing them.

Not going to name names but there were a couple of local guys on Miami talk radio a couple years back talking about feeling a cold atmosphere whenever they walked into the Davie Facility. Didn't give it much thought then but it fits what other reports have been since that time. Not sure why people feel a need to defend Ireland's personality. The guy is an ******* and it has nothing to do with being the boss. I've had many really good bosses and I've had *******s as well. Almost all were very firm in their policies.

Honestly, the story makes sense. He did the same thing to Yeremiah Bell a few years ago when he waited until the majority of FA was over to cut him.

Said it before and I'll say it again......Ireland must have compromising photos or documents of someone important to be able to keep his job and perpetrate his mediocrity over and over again.

If this isn't enough to get rid of him then he is the most untouchable Teflon Don in sports and he must have more secrets and info than the Illuminati!!!

Sage was a good soldier who didn't last long and no doubt has a chip on his shoulder whether he's right or wrong.

The reflex reaction would be a retort that Sage is the worst QB the Fins had under Ireland, but it's a sad state of affairs to acknowledge that as mediocre as he was for us and many other teams, that's not even close to the case.

Grievances? At least we lead the league in something!

Seriously, I stated it back when it happened - that I was incredulous that Ireland wasn't fired / forced to resign over the Dez Bryant thing. Put it in this context - if you are interviewing for a potential job and the interviewer asks you if your mother was a prostitute isn't that type of behavior treated with zero tolerance in most professional companies?
