Sage second to none

Wow man I have alot of respect for Sage. It's weird man how u can hate or love a player but when it comes down to it they are just humans just like us. If he doesn't have a carrer here in Miami I wish him and his family best of luck where and what ever they do.

Good Thread Man!!

sage should be starting.

i think gus is on a very short leash. if he doesn't do **** in the first half and the chargers are up big like 17-0, i could see saban pulling gus and putting sage in. also saban will know of the result of the pats/bills game which will make his decision easier.

Wow, that's a great story. He IS good people. Just goes to show you even pro athletes can be the most humble of persons. Instead of moping around or complaining to the coach about not getting the nod for starting QB, he's just content to have the opportunity to be making a living for a family. He realizes that this is more important than earning a starting job. He deserves it, if only for his attitude alone, in my opinion. He certainly did nothing to diminish his chances last Sunday.

My favorite part was that he wouldnt change to another team, because he knows the recievers and where they prefer the ball to be.

Even if Frerotte does know the system better, Sage knows the recievers and their preferences.

That alone should make him our QB. Plus he's one heck of a nice guy.

That was my favorite part too.
What really was incouraging to me during the game (besides his play) was that when they showed him on the sidelines he was talking to Chambers, and you could almost feel that they were communicating idea's and what they both were seeing out there on the field. Like how Palmer said he and Chad Johnson immulate Manning and Harrison.

That was good to see and looks like it was working for them.

Sage is a very classy guy who clearly saved that game for us. I'm glad he got a moment, if only briefly, to shine.

what you see is what you desire, not what is reality. When has Gus ever been pulled other than due to injury? If Gus throws for 360 yds and 2 TD's again, will you be here giving him any credit, I dont think so. But if CC gets a concussion and has a terrible game, you would probably blame the concussion for that.

This is what bothers me. CC is playing better for one guy over another? Is that the other guys fault? That is BS. The player needs to have a healthier attitude than that. That to me is not a team player because he communicates with one but not the other. That speaks more to me about CC than it does Gus. When we get a new QB, is CC going to be speaking just to Sage? On the other hand, the media plays to fan favorites, so they know what you want and what your thinking, so they play to it. Then when the proverbial **** hits the fan, they turn on the guy and knock him back down.

I wish Sage would start so people would come back to reality and not base something on one game where he came in on the fly and the other team did not gameplan for him. Im sure SD would have gameplanned him according to the Cleveland game.

This thread is about Sage the human, not Sage the QB. Don't ruin it with your drivel!!

Obviously, the story was about much more than that. It had undertones of why he should be starting. It had undertones of CC communicating better with him than Gus. It had undertones of he is better than Gus.

As if no one else on this team is human and cares about tradgedies in their lives or care about people close to them. If it was strictly a story about Sage the human, it would have kept the other stuff out and made it completely the story it was meant to be.

I took a professional writing class this past semester, Not that I am any great writer, but the story went off base from its true intended story. And all of you buy it cus that is what you want to hear. It is obvious from the reaction it gets. Im sure most of you who are laying claim to Sages humanity, you are cheering Gus' concussion.
