I think that Sage is a risk/reward kind of player

He will throw more picks but will pass for alot ofyards and make some big plays.

Gus is like the epitome of average and boring.

He really hasnt lost us any games but hasnt won us any games. Sage won the game for us last week.

He sure did! It was the best Quarterback play we've seen around here for a long time.

I agree sort of, but i think the reality is we have not seen enough of sage in real game time. However, that makes me believe even more that Sage should be given another chance and start this week.

based on his performance from last week he deserves another shot.....on different note it seemed the players responded very well when he was in the game....he lit a fire under the offense

I personally think Gus is still the best option we have a QB right now. Sage played well against a prevent type D for the most part, they were not bltzing him like they did Gus

If you compare Sage and Gus in the two games they have played in...Sage wins hands down. When your backup QB outplays your starting QB....you have a problem.

prevent defense or not there are still 11 guys on the other side of the ball....and there is still a job to get done....how about at on the last drive to win the game you can't tell me buffalo was sitting back and relaxing saying oh let sage drive down the field at ease and win the game....don't think so

Sage will throw a ton of picks.

I know Gus isn't much better, but all a defense has to do is lock down on Chambers and get pressure on Sage and he will panic.

I agree...not in the beginning....but when he led for that first touchdown...the Bills threw everything against him including the kitchen sink. Sage just beat them....he made Chambers play like an all pro...and lifted up the team.

GOOD POINT! At the end, it DID matter. And they really tried to stop us..But sage did it.

Then use the shotgun...and use more receiver sets.

They were still blitzing some. I thought that the o-line finally started blocking. Maybe they finally realized after the safety/concussion that they were SUCKING and decided to finally block they way they had in other games.

I think if we want to win this game we should start Gus and if he doesn't come on strong and keep us in the first half he should be benched and Sage should be put in. I think Sage gives us a better chance of making our offense more productive but he has a better chance of shooting us in the foot also that is why I want him to come in if were losing because if he blows it well we were already losing in the first place if he brings us greatness then he is a hero again and should start the week after.

That would invite more blitzing and totally handcuff our offense.

Sage is good with that first decision if that option is there.

But every team won't play like the Bills and what we saw in Chambers is totally out of character for him. Last time he had a big game like that was against Dallas in '03.
