I have nothing against AJ Feeley....in fact, I admired his courage last year when he faced bodily harm every time he took the field. His performance against New England was a great moment.

Looking back, it is more clear than ever that Spielman wasted a second round pick. Why wasn't Sage given a chance? I'll never understand that. Sage is a bright guy with a great college career. He has all the tools and when he briefly played at Washington, he looked very good. He has always performed well in training camps and many players have said he throws the best ball.

Feeley may someday be a good NFL quarterback, but I never saw him as an upgrade over Sage. I'm glad Saban finally sees the same thing.

Interesting... Really rhe only thing that killed Feeley was that INT return against Atlanta

start sage over gus/aj cause gus/aj aren't the future of the team.

Neither is Sage, but I guess that's the problem Saban has...we have 3 mediocre QB's and he has to choose the one he feels will screw us over less. It will be interesting to see how it pans out this season.

I completly agree and you should have seen him throw the hail mary in college it was the type of throw that would have made it dan proud of. Sage the rage is like a tiger in a cage and when he gets loose dolphin fans will be saying " our savior is here at last". my 12 th sense tell me that s he will be a pro bowl qb if he is turn loose. just randy mcmichael is the rock that hold the offense together . but if anone is idle thurs night the boys from akla. state and florida atlantic will play in dolphins stadium thurs night if you want to big bobby reid play he will make your eys water when he scrambles in and out of the pocket.:snooze: oh yea the best deffensive tackle will be there as well ryan mcbean learn his name becaue he is the next tim bowens . trust me on this.

i was hoping for sage to be named the starter but i'm with the call for gus to start. if its meant to be that sage starts it'll happen. perseverance pays off.

Agreed. There's no way Saban could've named Sage starter without having any reps with the first team. Sage and Saban were screwed since the F twins were good enough to stay in contention and bad enough to not take over. Given some reps with the first team and I think by midseason he will be there. It was nice to hear that more than one player has said Sage throws the best ball of allthe QB's, since he's been here
