Is he any good? he can't be any worse than with we have.
This guy is a money making machine, from the Seahawks, to the pats and phily and saints. Sure knows how to make that money!
New Orleans was hoping to solidify their secondary when they signed Browner to a contract last year. However, it was almost as though he was liability for them, given the number of personal foul penalties he drew this past season.
Browner, 31, signed a three-year, $15 million contract that included $7.75 million guaranteed. He was set to make base salary of $2.75 million in 2016 and 2017.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Browner would free up $950,000 in available cap space while creating $5,350,000 in dead money. Should the Saints make Browner a post-June 1 release, they would create $2,250,000 in cap space.
In 2015, Browner appeared in all 16 games and recorded 76 tackles, one interception, a fumble recovery and 10 pass defenses for the Saints.
