Is he any good? he can't be any worse than with we have.

This guy is a money making machine, from the Seahawks, to the pats and phily and saints. Sure knows how to make that money!

New Orleans was hoping to solidify their secondary when they signed Browner to a contract last year. However, it was almost as though he was liability for them, given the number of personal foul penalties he drew this past season.

Browner, 31, signed a three-year, $15 million contract that included $7.75 million guaranteed. He was set to make base salary of $2.75 million in 2016 and 2017.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Browner would free up $950,000 in available cap space while creating $5,350,000 in dead money. Should the Saints make Browner a post-June 1 release, they would create $2,250,000 in cap space.

In 2015, Browner appeared in all 16 games and recorded 76 tackles, one interception, a fumble recovery and 10 pass defenses for the Saints.

He's not bad...he's awful. Pathetic is a good way to describe his performance last year as well.

I saw this too; but I don't think this would be a wise move. He was one of the worst corners in the league last year.

From what I seen, the guy likes to play with his arms opposed to technique. In Ryan's defense, we all know CBs must be able to play man.

He played like **** last year and he's good for about 2 PI calls a game. We'd get tired of his BS before the 2nd game was over. Not worth it.

Why? We already have a CB who's getting older and regressing....

Terrible player. He was vaulted up from playing opposite Richard Sherman, and having Kam Chancellor and Earl Thomas behind him in that amazing Seahawks defense. Terrible in New England, terrible in New Orleans. Avoid as much as possible.

Teams seem to not find much value in Browner once he is there for a year

I was a big fan of Browner in his Legion of Boom days - he was a huge corner who could press and run. Now he's just a huge pylon with velcro appendages. A walking PI penalty. No thanks.
