Saints - Dolphins Matchup Video

I like woodson. He just always says something real no matter who it is he is talking about.

I think woodson understands matchups.
 
I firmly believe we can upset the saints... although our main enemy will be that saints' defensive coordinator... he is one mastermind i tell ya (look at the titans' defence last year, or the saints' defence this year... that guy is an EXCELLENT coordinator)

if he finds a way to stop our running game, it doesn't matter how well/bad brees plays, he'll still put enough points to win the game... the dolphins absolutely need to bring their A-game on the rushing attack , and henning has to continue mixing up things like he did against the jets

Greg Williams has been pretty special for the Saints. Word has it that the Saints offense has a few Wildcat plays in their arsenal although they would never commit to such a scheme with a QB like Brees at the helm but it is important to note that the Saints have been practicing against that formation for a while in practice. Also important to the Saints defense has been the 3 number 1 draft picks on the defensive line as well as key free agent aquisitions like Vilma and Sharper. They have built a solid unit this year. More of a challenge certainly than the defenses the Dolphins have faced so far.
 
The Dolphins version of the wildcat is ahead of the rest of the NFL. The challenge is being brought to the big boys up front - and we will absolutely bring it.

This team is actually closer to the 72 Dolphins then anything we have seen since the prime of the Killer Bees.

Our defense has been exposed. I believe we turn it around. Not so much with a pass rush, although I think that will be there for us, but because of our young corners. They need to be put out on the line and they will begin to mature this week.

I expect the Dolphins to DESTROY the Saint's defense this week. I mean absolutely crush them. Pulverize them!

We will see. Certainly the Dolphins might at least stand a chance of winning if this happens but even then there are no guarantees.

I was actually talking to someone about this a few days ago, this is very true, they are a smash mouth, run down your throat offense with 2 great running backs, we have a strong defense, secondary will get there, but you cannot run on our D, we have an efficient QB with an efficient group of WRs, Hopefully Henne develops into the return of Dan Marino, then we'll be better off than those 72 Fins were, but I like where we're at right now, and I'll put my bottom dollar on it, next season we will be one of those teams that go undefeated for a nice run, and who knows, the way they're playin ball, with Parcells behind the scenes, I think they can accomplish anything if they continue to make the progress they are making.
 
Common sense points to us not winning this game. But there's a growing part of me that sees it happening...
 
I would really like to see a win but that is me being a fan, this will be the hardest game of the next three.
 
No one is picking Miami because the saints are really good.

They just beat the giants pretty good.....and the giants had a good defense.

But I see the Dolphins winning because they are going to come out and play hard regardless of who they're playing. And the Dolphins can bring it! I wish I had that recording of Jon Gruden in the booth on MNF in the last game. He was incredibly impressed by the Dolphins blocking. They were jacking up the Jets. Are you serious? As the week has progressed, it seems like EVERYONE is jumping on the Dolphins upset bandwagon. historically, when this happens, the upset happens as well. We will see in about 75 hours.
