I have been cruising the boards here for the past few days and wanted to drop in and say hello. It is funny how Drew Brees has pulled so many people from this board to Saintsreport.com and vice versa. I know most of you think Brees would be better served in Miami and of course most of the Saints fans think he is should sign in New Orleans but the one thing we can all agree on is that he needs to MAKE A DECISION ALREADY!

Unfortunately for the Saints we are having major problems getting Free Agents to just visit us let alone sign with us. I am glad Brees gave us the initial opportunitty but feel that he is just using us as leverage with the Dolphins.

Brees would benefit us for the obvious reasons but most of all he would allow us to trade down and fill several key positions in the draft instead of being forced to go with a QB. His contract would also be quite a bit less than Matt Lienart's. Anyway just wanted to drop in and say hello. I hope you guys have a great year and do some damage in the AFC.
 
I don't understand the thinking of the Saints on this one. If I were you guys, I'd draft Lienart and love it. The guy is going to be good, and he'll be the face of your franchise for a decade, a face everyone knows.

Having lived in New Orleans, the best to your city and team.

Welcome- Yes Brees does need to make a choice and soon because he's kinda holding us up from doing some other movement. Wherever he wind's up hopefully it will be in his best interest and he's at peace with it but JUST HURRY IT UP!!! Anyways, good luck to you guys too this coming season. Yes we do plan to stir things up a bit in our division and finally get back to the playoffs. Take Care.

Tell ya what, we'll drop out of the running, you can have brees, and in return just give us you 1st rounder :sidelol:

Just a friendly word of warning, if you do happen to sign Brees i will be forced to beat you to death with your own shoes.....that is all......
 
good luck to you guys either way. I love seeing someone beat the stinking bucs :) Specially beating down foolish atlanta too <~~ cant stand vick.

I didn't spend much time looking.... you're right though, black and gold wasn't much. Course, im used to Finheaven, so im a little spoiled. :lol:

Both teams cannot afford a delay as things need to get in full swing a.s.a.p. if there is no Brees for them.

All kidding aside though, i hope you guys get it together this year. What you've had to go through down there has to be a real bummer. Are they planning on having the Superdome ready for your season opener?
