Suddenly I like sand. Today I holed a bunker shot on #2. A groundskeeper stopped to applaud.

I hate sand :/ I overshot about 10 yards out of a bunker today. It set me up for a bogey. Damn you sand...

I think Miami can contend with Feeley starting at QB, if not this year, then next year.

thats good to read...

very interesting about how Mueller is aggressive in FA + the Koren Robinson comments.

It's nice to see a lot of Saints fans think highly of him. It will be very interesting to see how well him and Saban work together.

You're blaming a teams 30 years of misfortune on a General Manager who has only been there for two years? Do you realize before he came there the Saints went 3-13 and used almost all their high valued draft picks moving up to take Ricky Williams ALL BEFORE HE GOT THERE thanks to Ditka. Once he got there he had a 3-13 team to work with and limited draft picks. He rebuilt the roster with productive Free Agents and traded with Green Bay to acquire Aaron Brooks. He inherited a 3-13 team with very few draft high value draft picks and how did the Saints do the first year with Mueller as their GM? They go 10-6!!!! WIN DIVISION and beat the Defending Super Bowl Champs in the first round of the playoffs. Which I might add was the only Playoff game in FRANCHISE HISTORY that they ever won and it was with Mueller as their GM. Next season he gets fired because New Orleans' owner Benson is a jacka$$ and because they go 7-9 and finish third in their division. May I ask who else was in there division...? Rams 14-2 and 49ers 12-4. Also he got fired for trading Ricky Williams to us when at the time, it seemed like a bad move but he got two first round picks and we get a 1853yd season from Ricky with no playoffs and than he quits on us two years later. Meanwhile he got the Saints two FIRST ROUND PICKS and Deuce Ccallister whom he drafted...

To sum it up... I wouldn't quite say he sucks and please get your facts straight.

Its mind boggling some fans can look at the moves of Rick Spielman and actually want that man here. and can look at the much longer and more proven record of Randy Mueller and can say he sucks?

He's a very good GM and we'll begin to see it next season. If he and Saban can happily coexist, then we are in good shape for the future.

Exactly! I know what you mean man, and I feel the way. I also agree with you that Randy Mueller has a proven record, definitely. I mean if someone doesnt like Randy Mueller or dont think he was a good choice to be our GM, they are entitled to their own opinion, but to flat just say he sucks... and than praise Rick Spielman for some of the movies that he has made here... And yes it is mind boggling. :hitself:

I agree with you my friend.

IMO the dark colors are hard on the eyes after a while and its difficult to read.I would venture to say the members of that MB spend less time on it than we do here.Keep our color scheme as it is.

The hiring of Mueller is a real coup.I never would have dreamed that an executive of his category would be available to us .I thought we were headed for a low key personnel man.It shows you what king of man Saban is.

Mueller is a real GM with a proven track record and he is a good negotiator which is very important. There will be no more throwaway picks .

Well this has nothing to do with Mueller, and will probably make me look like a geek but one of the signatures irritated me.

Anikan said that, not Padme. And she wasn't queen during Attack of the Clones. Its not so much that he got it wrong, but that he would actually put it in his signature and still get it wrong. Anyway.... carry on.

:grouplaug ...jk :D

The guy makes too many roster moves. Hopefully Saban will put his foot on his neck.

It was a neccesity at New Orleans, he had that team on the right track until the cheap owner killed it.

I seriously doubt any moves will be made that Saban doesn't agree with.

Mueller is a shrewd negotiator in both trading and in player contracts, he will take a huge load off of Nick and is a serious upgrade over Spielman in such matters.

Yeah, that is something to consider in his favor. I just hope that Saban *really* analyzes this guy's reccommendations and doesn't approach them with a presumption that they're good moves.
