He would offer the Phins more than a Devin Hester. Sproles can catch the ball better than Hester,, can be used occasionally on runs, and is a year younger than Hester. I'd offer a third rounder for him. Thoughts?

While I don't disagree he offers us more than Hester, I still don't see the great fit in our offense. We didn't keep Bush, who was a better all-around back than Sproles and I'd hate to give up picks for him. If he was out there available in F/A and affordable, MAYBE. But no way I pay a draft pick and somewhere in the range of 3.5 million in salary. They are trying to save cap space and may end up cutting him anyways. Just let this one pass and see how the market plays out in the next few weeks.

He absolutely killed us in the New Orleans game week 4. We would have to have the O-line functioning to take advantage of Sproles skills.

we need a bigger RB IMO. I love Sproles and he absolutely killed us on MNF but we need someone for GL and short sheet.

Dont see how they can keep Strief if they are having a fire sale.

Funny how much of a weapon this guy is and they are thinking of moving him. If we didn't have to trade for him i would definitely take a HUGE flier on him guy is explosive as hell.

I would not trade for him, but if he is released then go on and get him. I would rather Miami get a bruiser back though like Gerhart to pair with Miller.

That would give Miami 5 picks in the draft. No chance I'd pull that off.

Both Sproles and Pierre Thomas are much better than who we have. I could definitely see Pierre Thomas as a great compliment to Miller.

This is not the year for us to trade picks away. We only have 6 and some of this players might be let go anyway so we should just wait and see who's out there first.

Ozzy rules!!

hmmmm....doubt it would cost even a 3rd...problem is lamar miller is more suited to be our change of pace...would still need a another guy that offers some different skill sets...ie downhill power and size

Better than Miller I would seriously consider it
