According to WWL TV's Scott Cody Saints HC, Sean Payton, told Watson to "seek employment elsewhere". Watson must have really done something special to tick Payton off......

It will be interesting to see if Saban will try to sign him since the trade didn't get done earlier because of Eddie f'n Moore.

I am pretty sure it will happen, if the media reports about us being interested in working out a new deal are correct.

Well they already tried to trade him. Now they're letting him know it's coming.

Well....reports are now...that when Payton told Watson "to seek other employment" he was telling him not to return the Saints practice facility and explore trade options. They aren't cutting him......yet.

<A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/23">NewOrleansSaints.com reports New Orleans Saints LB Courtney Watson was excused from the weekend's minicamp, according to head coach Sean Payton. "Right now, we're giving him permission to seek a trade and we're trying to facilitate that as best we can."

Saban don't really want Watson, he was just tryin' to pull off a miracle deal to get rid of Moore.

That is not true, according to reports after Moore failed his physical. Check them out for yourself, but it basically says we still wanted to work something out to acquire Watson.

Watson has been a bust for them. They tried him out at MLB and he flopped big time. My uncle in Miss. is a rabid Saints follower and gave me some low down on him. TIFWIW but need to pass on him and look elsewhere to pick up any additonal LBs for potential depth.

Yeah, no crap, as long as Eddie Moore was a part of the deal.
