Despite the cap hike most teams are telling their free agents to shop around and let the market set their value. I think the draft being so deep this year will hurt the free agent market...that's just how I see it.

Agreed. I've read where we have told the same of "we're interested, and let us know your offers" to Starks, Clemons, Carroll, and maybe others. No fact, just reports.

I'm good with this, other than maybe Grimes, who I do not think is gonna get what he wants from any team because of younger VG CB's in FA.

Understand that every team and agent knows this. The price of free agents the year is about to go through the roof. Expect the top LT'S to resign with their current teams. That includes Monroe, Albert, Veldheer, and Collins.

All teams knew that, after a 40% in TV revenue, this was coming. It was just a matter of when. The only thing Miami could have done differently last year was to pull the trigger on the Albert trade, which we had the money for anyhow.

Well, we could have locked up Soliai, Grimes, Clemons, and maybe Starks well before this for much cheaper than they will be now. But that was under Ireland's watch.

Now Soliai will cost a mint.
