Salary Cap goes up

Money isn't the problem, giving up draft picks or players is gonna be too much for a 29 year old WR.
 
we have the money too pay him and if they make the trade they would pay that. but i doubt its gonna happen.

ive stopped thinking this FO is all about age. jt wanted 7-8 mil a year and we didnt give it to him. after a year, he got 1.5 from us and hes 35!! so obviously age isnt a problem. the FO would love a veteran to join this young WR core that we have. its all about the money.
 
That gives us around $22 million without the rookie signings.

We now have the salary cap for Boldin, however, the Cardinals have also gained $12 million more dollars to dance with.
 
They don't want to trade him and we dont want him that bad. Give up on the Boldin thing already.

We were at 127.5 mil, according to this article, they went up to 128 m...not much difference, but enough to do some damage for some teams.. we already had an adjustment for unpaid incentives last year, so our cap this year was about 134.5m, so now we had 135.3 m to start after all the signings we probably have about 13.7 mil left even after signing JT with this little increase.. 4.6 of this of course is set aside to sign the rookies.. so we have about 9 mil left..
 
I read an article just now saying the FO wants money left to resign certain players when their contracts are up.

Boldin is 29 YO and has been unhappy now for 3 years, wants BIG money. IMHO this is not the type player that fits in the BP mold.... then to have to give up a 2nd and another lower round pick? A happy Boldin as a Phin would be great, but the deck is stacked against him. If the Trio thought we were one player from the big one the price might be right but there are just too many negitaves on this one.
