I did not think it would, and with few exceptions, the extra $10M has had little effect on FA contracts. I was shocked to see CB Verner, who I really liked, getting a 4 year $25M deal, as well as Monroe and Verdheer getting less than most had anticipated.

I believe that's a VG thing for us as we move on in FA. It appears that there are going to be some very good deals out there in the coming days.

Really? I think players have been getting more money. Compare Sam Shields to every CB last year, for example.

Did you not see the cash Byrd got, Vontae freaking Davis got....It was never going to be a huge jump, but players are getting paid more.

There are exceptions but, you have to look at the guaranteed money. For example, I'm listening to Pollian n Byrd's big deal. He's saying that his deal is a $7M a year deal, and many in the NFL do not believe he is that special. Raiders are exceptions in whatever they do. lol
