Well, I have the cap adjustment info.....

Miami's debit is $9,529,790

This means that Miami's adjusted salary cap is $84,983,210 based on an "unadjusted" league wide cap of $94.513 million. I have Miami $2,378,451 OVER

Buffalo's cap debit is only $223,059

Vikings got a cap credit of $7,460,698 thus the Vikes adjusted salary cap is over $101 million

Miami needs the CBA extension BIG time.

We really don't need it big time. I mean this will mean we will have to take alot more cheap players for 1 year than there is no cap and Miami is one of those teams who will spend money to make their team better. They won't go as far as other, But they will spend money. I would rather have the CBA done, But thats not in the Dolphins hands right now.

or the raiders, or the jets, or the......

Jets are around $2M under the $94.5M cap with their current cuts and restructures. They still need to officially release Mawae, and restrcuture Pennington and Robertson, which would put them about $11-$12M under (without a new CBA.) Then trade Abraham's $8.3M salary, which (if his current salary counts against the cap, I've heard conflicting reports) could put the Jets nearly $20M under, without a new CBA.

Don't forget that Gus, who has the freakin nerves to ask for more $, will most likely be cut very soon.

Thx for the news,I think,lol....So, basically Buffalo will clean up on fa's and become stronger and we become weakened,is that it in a nutshell?
Sabo and the staff will definately earn their paycheck this year, but I have faith! :cooldude:

I hope that Upshaw gets EXACTLY what he's sowing, an NFL that hates his guts. Players think they won't be affected when an NFL team no longer has a MINIMUM they can pay and when the top 8 playoff teams can't sign a FA unless they lose a FA?

Who is going to have money to sign FA this year? Vikings? Detroit? Upshaw has destroyed this league. Destroyed it! We had a great thing and the player's union's GREED killed it.

56.2 % as opposed to 60% and Upshaw PROUDLY declares I'm not going to change that number it's 60% or nothing.

Well, that's what his name will be worth in 5 years. Nothing. He'll be the Anti-Christ that presided over the death of the NFL as we knew it. From here on out, UFA's and over the hill Vets could get $80,000 a year and have no choice but to take it. Gone is the free ride that was the CBA.

UPSHAW did this. Don't kid yourself, he did this.

This totally sucks.

:shakeno:

IN THE NFL's OWN WORDS:

But the problem involves more than that, notably a dispute among owners over revenue sharing. Low-revenue teams complain they would have to contribute a higher percentage of the money they get from advertising, naming rights and other non-television and ticket revenue than big-market teams.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/9283769

THE UNION IS NOT THE PROBLEM. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE DAMNED OWNERS CANNOT EVEN DECIDE AMONG THEMSELVES WHAT THEY WANT TO DO!!!!!

What would help some people get this concept? Skywriting? Tattoo on the forehead? Telepathy? Water torture?

I think You manipulated the numbers. I have no fear when it comes to Saban!

Clumpy, I read something about "not likely to achieve" bonuses that will have to be paid in 2006 if there is no CBA. Is this correct?
