The cap page will be updated soon. I'm not gonna have Muck change something on it until "official" numbers are available. I will be submitting a few changes today but the new FAs signed will not have numbers yet

As of 3/7/04, I have y'all $6.956 million under an adjusted cap of $78,167,746 (Miami has a $2,414,254 debit). Included in the numbers is a total of $4,946,666 "dead cap".

NOTES: The $6.956 million under number

1) DOES NOT INCLUDE Bonus information for Freeman or Akins (subtract the proration from the number)

2) I have assigned Wooden a 1 yr vets minimum with $25,000 signing bonus. Cap hit $475,000

3) Estimated 1st year salaries of your new FAs using the minimum salaries (all of them are assigned $535,000) and have also used $4.25 million signing bonus for OL James(seen reports of $4.4 million but the difference is trivial)

I'm looking into adding a 2005 cap page. Thoughts?? Post here! Bitches, gripes, complaints?? Send them to Muck :D

Hey Clumpy, why does ESPN have us at 12.9 under? Where the discrepancy between you and them?

That's pretty good room with a Madison re-structure coming. McIntosh's deal won't be too much.

Clumpy's updated and ESPN is not. Thanks for the info Clumpy and BTW, in case you didn't know, I'm in row 15 for the ozzfest in west palm...yessssssss

Ozzy rules!!

you still have Ogun and need to set aside for the draft.

Draft pool is barely above 2m. Not all will even touch roster due to not being top 51. O-Gun's tender is counted already. Isn't it?

Hey, bring on the 2005 page if your up to it. I'm working on the Seasonal directory as we speak. How does this look?? :)

Anyway, bring it on!! :)

Yes, his tender counts. You only need to worry about signing bonus amortization when it comes to rookies. The rookie pool is the limit for rookies. Rookie pool is a cap within a cap. Miami's rookie pool will not be known until after the draft because it depends on number of picks, what rds those picks are in, and where they are positioned in each rd

FYI - I have yet to see a link that says Shawn Wooden was re-signed. Only a mention by a poster here (in mocking fashion).

Can anybody help me??

Yeah, that's what the poster said. But I was never able to find a link or any mention of it anywhere. See everyone, THAT'S why we ask for links.

Someone has some espaining to do!!

I can understand your numbers, but I don't think we spent close to 6 million in cap space in the first years of contracts for James, Feeley, Freeman and Akins did we?

Mannings hit the first year is only 8 million and we didn't give any of our guys even close to the money Manning got.

Hoped we had more room I guess.
